Group and Centre-based Activities
We help our participants join in the fun and meaningful group activities, both in and out of the home. Whether it’s picking up a new hobby, socialising with others, or exploring the community, we’re here to support and actively encourage their passions and life goals.
In addition to providing a welcoming environment, our team at Rise2Shine Care also provides the chance for companionship, fun, growth, and most importantly, learning. We encourage individuals to take part in activities on their own or in workshops or other group centre activities.
Participating in group activities is made easier for participants by our professional caregivers at Rise2Shine Care. Our activities provided to NDIS participants include social, civic, and recreational activities that are carried out within one of our houses or outside of the neighbourhood.
We actively encourage individuals to work towards their objectives, whether they want to pick up a new skill, meet new people, or simply enjoy spending time in the neighbourhood. We understand the significance of fostering an environment of inclusivity and motivating individuals to experience life to the fullest.
Our Group / Center Activities support our NDIS participants to take part in group-based communal, social, and recreational activities including going to the movies, the zoo, the beach, doing arts and crafts, and going outside.
Our team ensures that all our NDIS participants are given the right assistance in achieving their tasks in group/centre activities while having a great time with the community around them. Our services also include transportation to and from activities. We can help with a variety of tasks, including:
- Going to a nearby library
- Visiting the theatre
- Committing to a sports club
- Visiting the football game
- Taking a day trip, such as to a park or shopping mall
